PLDT’s MyDSL BIZ doesn’t work with routers. Bad for business.

Wow, a new post on MagNEGOSYO.com after months of quiet huh? See, our company TRAPIK MEDIA just moved offices – thus, a lot of reorganization an re-prioritization of work. So we moved to a new office and we had to bite MyDSL BIZ option because Globelines has no more lines (pun intended) on our new building and Eastern’s (ETPI) salespeople don’t want to do a sale. So we bit the bullet and signed with PLDT’s MyDSL.
This MyDSL subscription uses automatic IP assignment, NO usernames and passwords, NO logging in and out. GREAT right? So far yes. With this set-up, enabling a broadband router (any broadband router) is as simple as selecting “AUTOMATIC IP ADDRESS” and ENABLING “DHCP” on the router settings. Well, it’s not that easy with PLDT’s MYDSL BIZ on NGN.
